Here are some easy core workouts to get started on your fitness journey. These exercises will work on coordination, balance, and posture. Make sure to squeeze your core though all exercises. Perform 1-3 sets of 15-30 seconds on holds and 12-15 reps or steps; per side of the body. Keep movements slow and controlled. Squeeze or brace your core throughout the exercises and keep a slight bend in the knee throughout.
– Straight leg sit up –
– Dead bug hold – Lying on your back, Squeeze your core and press your spine into the ground. Straighten arms infront off the body, bend your hips and knees 90 degrees with feet in the air. Perform 1-3 sets holding 15-30 sec.
